Hello, My Beautiful Nerds!

Hi everyone!

I hope you’re having an amazing holiday season! I’m sorry the book club has been a little quiet lately. Scatty had final exams and now she’s off on an adventure in Peru until January. Isis has been a bit busy with a recent move as well as getting her scheduling together for school. And I…well, I have been extremely busy working during the holiday season dealing with crazy/hot headed/rude customers as well as busting my butt trying to make sure that I have everything ready for the holidays. Multiple families to visit 🙂

We’re sincerely sorry that we haven’t been up to date with all of you; but we promise that things will be better once January hits. And I’m sure all of you have been busy as well with your families. We wish you the best!

Holiday Cheer Last Call!!

Hey everyone!

 

Three Nerds and a Book Club has teamed up with fellow awesome book club Bookbenders in a Secret Santa Gift Exchange! Of course it wouldn’t be ridiculously expensive (we are recommending a $5 limit), and we’d be okay with home made gifts. And since this is basically a book blog, we recommend book/fandom related gifts. We just wanted to see if it was a fun thing that could bring us together as a community.

I’ve started the gift exchange page, and it can be found here. Don’t forget, the deadline to sign up is December 12, 2012. Names will be automatically drawn on December 13. So what are you waiting for? Sign up!!

Hey everyone!

Three Nerds and a Book Club has teamed up with fellow awesome book club Bookbenders in a Secret Santa Gift Exchange! Of course it wouldn’t be ridiculously expensive (we are recommending a $5 limit), and we’d be okay with home made gifts. And since this is basically a book blog, we recommend book/fandom related gifts. We just wanted to see if it was a fun thing that could bring us together as a community.

Right now we have an updated timeline:

• Friday, November 30: Email will be sent out to those we have in the directory to further reach out to the community.
• Wednesday, December 5: Last day to send an email of interest
• Friday, December 7: Invites will be sent out to website where SS exchange will be hosted
• Wednesday, December 12: Last day to sign up for gift exchange
• Thursday, December 13: Names will be drawn for Secret Santa Exchange
• CHRISTMAS DAY:  Hopefully you will have received your gifts by now.
• Tuesday, January 1: If you have not received your gifts by now, please email three.nerdss@gmail.com (Attention to Hecate)
• Tuesday, January 8: Last day to email complaint
• Friday, January 11: If more than 3 people have not gotten their gifts, we offer the option of getting a personalized gift from the Three Nerds or a new exchange specifically for these people.
